Physiotherapy

Our dedicated Physiotherapist helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.

At Ekhaya Health & Fitness Gym, our goal is to maintain the health of people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent diseases.

What to expect

Your first session usually begins with an evaluation. The Physiotherapist will start by asking you a range of detailed questions to gain a better understanding of your condition, your goals and your lifestyle.

Next, a physical examination will be conducted to test your range of motion and assess your impairment or dysfunction.

Based on the outcome of your evaluation, we will create a custom treatment plan for you. The treatment plan may include a range of exercises or activities, depending on what your diagnosis is. We may also develop a customised home exercise plan for you.

Follow up appointments will focus more on carrying out treatments. There will be a short evaluation at the beginning of each follow-up to assess your progress and make changes to your treatment programme if necessary.
